My work involves narrative and intervention. The interventions take two forms. One is the insertion of my fictions into reality: for example, removing the text from a factual book whose images or pages I find beautiful and replacing it with a story that the book might tell if it was given the chance. The other type of intervention involves fictions created by other people. I re-author narratives by imposing new hierarchies on them. In doing this I aim to illustrate ideas that may not be central to a particular story, but which serve to link it with many others.
