Pet Pests
I am interested in participation and its idiosyncrasies: friendly deviance, serious comedy and unusual acts of activism or charity. My projects at the Royal College of Art have tended to look at institutions, organisations and autonomy: how financial loopholes can generate unexpected links in the built environment. This year I have been mostly looking at condemned canines: Pet Pests is about the domestic dog as a puppet and a criminal, as a provider and commodity, and as a companion and a fool.
