The full fee for 2013/14 will be £26,900. UK and EU students receive a subsidy from the British Government and pay a reduced fee.

    Supplementary Fees

The MA/MSc Global Innovation Design is subject to a supplementary fee of £2,000 per annum in addition to the standard postgraduate Master's fees (see  table above) because of the higher costs involved in delivering a programme in three countries.

    Equivalent or Lower Qualification (ELQs)

From 2008/9 public funding was withdrawn for students studying towards a degree that was equivalent to or lower than a qualification already held, regardless of where this degree was obtained or how it was funded. Students who already hold a Master's level degree (including Integrated Master's degrees) and who then choose to study towards an MA at the RCA will be classified as an ELQ student. The tuition fee for Home/EU students taking an equivalent or lower qualification is the same as that for Overseas students. In 2013/14 this will be £26,900.

The only exceptions are: Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) and Global Innovation Design (GID) students who hold an MEng as their highest qualification on entry to the College, and students who will be in receipt of Disabled Student Allowance for their course at the RCA. These students will pay fees at the Home/EU rate as above.

If you have any queries about ELQ status, please contact Admissions on +44 (0)20 7590 4444 or email admissions@rca.ac.uk.
