This continuous programme of collaborative projects engages with musicians from the Guildhall School of Music together with other performing arts institutions: the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, the National Youth Orchestra and the English National Ballet among others. MAP/Making has also worked with a range of community organisations, including young offenders’ groups and schools. The aim of the project is to study the integration of sound and music with images, with an emphasis on workshop collaboration and live performance. The project has resulted in an acclaimed series of performances at the Bath International Music Festival in 2002 and 2007, The City of London Festival in 2003 and 2004 and the Aldeburgh Music Festival in 2005.
