A PEP is tailor-made to update or extend art/design capabilities. You should discuss your needs with the College before making a formal application. A PEP application form must then be submitted together with a comprehensive portfolio and curriculum vitae.

You need to give a detailed and clear statement of objectives and aims for the time you wish to spend in the College, as well as a list of resources (human and technical) you expect to use. Submissions can be made at any time of the year.

The availability of places will depend on the College being able to match your study proposal. You must also have achieved a high standard of work in your specialist field, even though your application to a PEP might not be in this specialism. Admission to all programmes is at the discretion of the Head of Programme concerned in consultation with the Dean of School. Command of the English language needs to be good enough to learn and debate ideas at postgraduate level.
