We train our students to follow various career paths including working as a designer within industry or a design studio, or setting up their own practice.

Many of the world’s best-known designers graduated from the Design Products programme, such as Robin Day (1935–39), Thomas Heatherwick (1992–94) and current professor Tord Boontje (1992–94). Many more are the stars of following generations including Tomoko Azumi, Min Kyu Choi, Paul Cocksedge, Ineke Hans, Simon Hasan and Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer of Raw Edges Design Studio. Graduates frequently establish their own studios with a wide variety of cultural and industrial clients.
