Fine Art at the RCA encompasses Painting, Sculpture, Photography and Printmaking. While some students are dedicated to the mastery of particular medium, others are forging an interdisciplinary investigation of ideas. The name of the programme does not always dictate the medium of the work; printmakers make films, photographers make installations, painters make performance pieces and sculptors draw.

Student time at the RCA enables an evolution of ideas and abilities, critical dialogue and a building of inner belief, resulting in a personal vocabulary of expression. Many ReachOutRCA / Fine Art workshops take their start from the nature of seeing, and the levels upon which this operates and can be interpreted.
