    AHRC Doctoral Awards Scheme

  • The Arts and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Awards Scheme aims to improve the support, training and development opportunities offered to postgraduates, helping them to:

    • make significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge and understanding
    • develop as highly skilled researchers ready for careers in the HE and other sectors
    • develop the skills required by the knowledge-driven economy
    • demonstrate the arts and humanities’ contribution to the UK’s cultural, social and economic well-being.

    The RCA currently has 12 AHRC-funded students (including Collaborative Doctoral Award students), working across all disciplines in the College.
