    Royal College of Art Archive

  • The Royal College of Art archive is a collection of resources that documents the history of the College. Most of the material consists of RCA publications, including annual reports, prospectuses, degree-show catalogues, student magazines – most notably the influential and long-running ARK – and the publications of the Lion and Unicorn Press, the College’s in-house imprint of limited-edition illustrated books. Manuscript material includes a small selection of correspondence and papers relating to Robin Darwin, Rector of the College between 1948 and 1971. While a modest amount of material spans the 1890s to 1940s, the vast majority of the archive dates from the 1950s onwards.
