    The RCAfé

  • The RCAfé is a hub of the College, where you can get fresh ground coffee in real cups from a proper machine, great sandwiches and sweet things at affordable prices. The café is somewhere to read, exchange ideas outside the formal boundaries of each course and maybe even to chat about things that have nothing to do with art or design.

The RCAfé is the hub of free speech within the College. Students are encouraged to use the venue to host their own projects, which will be supported by SU equipment, publicity, time and effort.

On the warmer evenings, the RCAfé opens its terrace and is the place for you to eat, drink and chill whilst watching the daylight fade over the Royal Albert Hall. The RCAfé is also home of the RCA table football and pool table, of live bands, and artist presentations. On occasion, the café also becomes a venue for live music, film, performance, interaction, debates and parties.

The RCAfé is open from 10.30am to 10pm, offering drinks and food until 5.45pm.
