Facilities include:
- well-equipped workshops for plate and
stone lithography, intaglio, relief and screenprinting
- three large-format digital printers, wide format, film and flatbed scanning and high end computers give students access to a wide range of digital media
- a fine-art-wide video editing facility is complemented
by our own video editing suite
- dedicated 3D workstation and graphics tablets
- access to still and moving image cameras, Chromera printing and colour calibrated retouching suite
- bookable space is available for students to
experiment with large-scale work and installation
- an archive of prints by past staff and students,
housed in the seminar room and used for inductions and collaborative seminars with students from the Critical Writing in Art & Design programme
Our students make extensive use of the Drawing
Studio, which is a college-wide resource.
Students are encouraged to use facilities throughout
the College: for example we currently have a project
in collaboration with RapidformRCA, the College’s
rapid prototyping centre.
