The Photography programme is housed in purpose-built studios and darkrooms in the Dyson Building on the Battersea campus, adjacent to the Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture programmes.
Equipment and facilities include:
- 50 Inch Chromera colour printer
- four fully equipped bookable studios
- range of digital still and moving image cameras, including Canon 5D Mk2s, Nikon D800 and Hassleblad
- highend dedicated retouching suite with state of the art workstations and 27 inch NEC Spectraview display
- colour and black and white darkrooms and c41 film processing
- wide range of various format cameras and lenses, from 35mm to10x8 including Hassleblad, Linhoff and Mamiya
- 12 colour inkjet printing facilities and choice of papers
- Profoto studio/portable lighting kits
- Imacon film and flatbed Epson scanners with workstations and calibrated displays
- Wacom Tablets

It is expected that students will possess their own basic camera outfit, using the College store for additional items. Students are not allocated a personal studio space but share Photography studios as well as work rooms. When appropriate, students working with installations and objects may approach the Sculpture programme for technical and academic support.
