There are four regular technical staff to support the programme's major activities and provide day-to-day advice,
demonstration and assistance. Between them they
have a wide range of technical experience.
Students are allocated individual materials budgets
and must manage their own expenditure. Stocks of
materials, including a limited range of gold and silver, are maintained for
daily issue. Other materials and specialist technical
services are sourced on demand. Each student is
allocated an individual bench or other appropriate
workspace, with secure storage.
