There are some 850 students at the College at any one time, taught by over 100 members of staff and a distinguished, revolving cast of visiting professors, lecturers and practitioners. All members of our teaching staff are eminent artists, designers and writers who practice and research in their chosen fields.

At the heart of the College is a strong belief in project-based education, face-to-face teaching and learning and professional orientation. We believe these are the ways in which postgraduates can best be encouraged to ‘find their own voice’ and discover how best to use it.

According to a 2002 survey, over 90 percent of RCA graduates are employed at a level appropriate to their qualification in an area directly related to the discipline they studied at the College. In some areas the figure is as high as 95 percent and in one area, 100 percent – proof positive that the RCA teaching method works.
