Set up to help both current students and recent graduates, FuelRCA, the College’s central professional practice programme, offers business or life-skills information and support to complement the discipline-specific advice available in each department. Its services are available on a self-help basis through an Intranet site.
The Fuel-Line Advice Service, alumni interviews, and information on fundraising, money and copyright are just a few of the areas covered. There’s also a one-to-one mentoring service plus college-wide workshops and seminars, all of these uniquely tailored to RCA culture and career paths.
FuelRCA is staffed by a wide range of professional advisers, recent graduates and successful alumni. Our goal is to keep as many recent RCA students on staff as possible for the most relevant advice and information delivery possible.
The Imperial College London Careers Advisory service and library is also available to all current RCA students and to AlumniRCA members in the first year after graduation. There are free workshops on CVs, interviews, etc., and you can book a 40-minute one-to-one careers guidance session, which is also free.
