    Animation

  • The department’s aim is to create a vibrant environment, where our students can extend their study and practice of animation and develop an individual voice. Animation is flowing into many forms of image-making and we are keen to assist this process. Our students develop their ability to express an idea through moving image by learning to direct, developing narrative and non-narrative methods, and exploring structure, pace, and rhythm as well as character development, animation skill, and timing. We encourage our students to combine new and traditional forms of animation to create exciting and original methods of image-making.
