  • Tereza Buskovà’s Statement

Through the camera lens I capture and unleash the personality of a freely invented character, who to some extent has always existed. The pile of dead clothing, makeup and props are transformed into life by prints and moving images. Regarding my models, I enter their soul by intuition alone. They become integral players, helping to express dreams, fetishes, fears, sexuality and desire.

It is awkward tension, anticipation, energy and power that I expose to all of us. I do not shy away from the oddities of our cultural differences and traditions. My work is liberated from time and place.
