  • Ian Kettle’s Statement

    Ian Kettle began as a freelance illustrator in 1991 after graduating from Central Saint Martins, before becoming the chief designer at Dexter Wong. In 1997 he started BLUD, a menswear label, while freelancing and teaching at Central Saint Martins. In 2001 Ian started his first womanswear collection. Receiving press from the likes of Vogue, Nylon, Neo 2 and WWD alongside work for Cindy Sherman and a Japanese documentary on the designer’s career to date. While at the RCA Ian has been selected to produce for Miss Selfridge and Merchants of the Staple awards and has been featured in Elle magazine.
