  • Laura Perryman’s Statement

I enjoy working in a process led and experimental way, and have been exploring stretching and manipulating pattern over 3D forms, tackling scale, quality of line, colour and the deformation of shape through engineering. Utilising techniques I have developed through research within forming and automotive processes, I hope to achieve new conclusions and outcomes to the function and application of print and fabric. A mix of industrial and machine process being married with textile methods and traditional forms of printing. My work approaches automotive design, architectural components and product conclusions.
