  • Naomi Tsai’s Statement

Coming from an engineering background, I have always enjoyed working with new materials and processes that contribute to elegant, efficient and sustainable products. However, beyond the dynamic and exciting world of innovative technology, I believe in human-centred design and am motivated to improve quality of life through design whenever and wherever possible.

Precious Cargo is a novel packaging design for the safe transport of transplant organs and specialist blood products. With the overall technical performances being significantly improved from the current system in use, the form of Precious Cargo is ergonomically designed for secure and comfortable handling, and hopes to promote an emotional connection between the user and the product.
