It's great when things just fit. Articles can appropriate themselves post-manufacture and demand design around them, much like a bespoke tailored suit. I find the brief itself can often come from an object, its history and future use within a constantly updating society.

The Alphabet Seat comes from this genre of thinking; within the action of picking up the bench it transforms into a stackable stool, packing itself away in the same process.
